The chapel near Apollon 8 was consecrated on 15 August 2012 in honour of the Dormition of the Mother of God.
On 15 August, when the Bulgarian Orthodox Church celebrates the Dormition of the Mother of God, a chapel within the Apollon complex was consecrated.
The ceremony was conducted by Father Bozhidar, the priest of a church in the town of Aheloy. The chapel was dedicated to the Dormition of the Mother of God.
Many residents of the complex took part in the ceremony with great joy.
